Forever Florals Thinking of You Card

Hi friends! Today I’m sharing a bright and easy Thinking of You card.   I really like the combination of the warm Calypso Coral flowers with the Peaceful Pine leaves, particularly against the mostly white background.

For the background, I’ve embossed Basic White cardstock with the Lovely Stripes embossing folder. The subtle horizontal detail adds some texture without competing with the flowers, and gives the otherwise plain background a little more interest.

The three floral images are stamped and die cut, then arranged across the card front. I kept the flowers all the same colour, with the Peaceful Pine foliage providing plenty of contrast. You could easily change the look of this card simply by switching the flower colour to whatever you have on hand or to suit the recipient.

For the bottom section, I’ve added some Designer Series Paper and a strip of Mossy Meadow & Gold ribbon across the join. This helps break up the card front and adds a little bit of sparkle without needing much extra work.

I’ve layered the sentiment panel onto a larger coordinating die cut, then centred it over the flower stems and DSP. A few small embellishments and tiny butterflies finish everything off.

Despite having quite a few elements, there’s nothing complicated about this card. It’s mostly straightforward stamping, die cutting and layering, making it suitable for newer crafters while still giving more experienced crafters plenty of options for changing it up.
