Neutral Noel Suite Christmas Card

Hi friends!

For my final Neutral Noel Suite card from this week’s Online Class to Go, I wanted to use the pine elements in a completely different way.

Rather than creating another landscape across the full card, I’ve used the largepine wreath, then built a little Christmas scene inside it.

This card has lots of layers and texture, but the actual colour palette is relatively simple – Mossy Meadow, Cajun Craze, white and natural tones, with a few metallic details to finish it off.

The wreath is die-cut and arranged around an embossed die cut panel.

Inside the wreath, I added two pine trees and the little Christmas house. This time I used a Cajun Craze for the house, with Daffodil Delight showing through the windows. That tiny bit of yellow completely changes the feel of it – suddenly it looks like a warm, inviting house on a cold Christmas evening. Ok, ok, I know it’s more likely to be a hot Christmas evening here in Australia, but I love the wintery scenes!

Of course, the little deer had to make another appearance too!

Because there is already plenty happening in the centre of the card, I kept the rest relatively simple.

The embossed panel behind the scene adds additional texture, while the patterned paper peeking out from behind the wreath adds a subtle metallic element.

The large sentiment stretches across the bottom of the wreath. I stamped it in Cajun Craze to coordinate with the house and card base and added a couple of small embellishments to either end.

A few more metallic embellishments scattered around the background finish the design.

One of  my favourite thing about creating several cards with the same suite is seeing how different they can look.

Across these three Neutral Noel Suite Christmas cards, we’ve gone from a wide snowy village, to a rustic cabin in the woods, and finally to this  pine wreath frame.

The same basic Christmas elements appear throughout – houses, trees, deer and greenery – but changing the layout and the way those elements are layered gives each project its own look.

This is the final project from this week’s Online Class to Go (19 – 24 October 2026).
