Rustic Frosted Pinecone Card

Hi friends!

For the final card in this week’s Online Class to Go, I’ve taken the Frosted Pinecone Bundle in a more rustic Christmas direction.

This time I used the Country Woods DSP, embossed with the Textured Tree Ring Embossing Folder, which immediately gives the card a completely different feel from the other two projects.

The pinecones are again the main feature, but instead of snowy white details I’ve used Timeless Metallic Specialty Paper against an Early Espresso outline. The contrast really brings out the pattern of the pinecones and works beautifully against the woodgrain background.

I arranged the pinecones across the top of a large circular sentiment panel, with die-cut pine branches extending out on either side. It creates an almost wreath-like arrangement without actually making a full wreath.

I left plenty of open space around the sentiment rather than adding more decoration to the centre.

A Gold & White ribbon (retired) textured bow sits above the pinecones and adds another light element against the darker brown and green. A few gold Adhesive Backed Dots scattered around the background bring that metallic detail out into the rest of the card.

This is the final Frosted Pinecone Bundle project from this week’s Online Class to Go. If you missed the Live, the replay is available so you can see how I created the pinecones and assembled the arrangement.

Full supply list, video tutorial, and class information can be found further down the post.
