Words & Wishes Birthday Card 2

Hi friends!  Today I’m sharing the second of three birthday cards featuring the Words & Wishes bundle.  This one is a really straightforward design and can easily be personalised with your preferred Designer Series Paper and coordinating colours.

I’ve used the Painted Illusions Designer Series Papers, one of the Product of the Month offerings, so went with Pretty Peacock as the base.  I added Blackberry Bliss Two-Tone cardstock for one of the arch dies.  The light side of the two-tone works really well with the Berry Burst Shiny Ribbon, which I also added. For those who loved the now-retired Rich Razzleberry colour (me!), the light side of Blackberry Bliss Two-Tone is very similar.

The cake is coloured with the new Barely Blush Shimmer Brush.  These are great for adding some subtle shimmer to your projects.

This card is part of this week’s online class to go (22 – 27 June 2026).

Full supply list, video tutorial, and class information can be found further down the post.
